EZplugIIservo gecko drive interface card

Post by hsolve » Thu Dec 17, 2020 3:36 am

I have traced my current problem to either the Gecko320 servo driver or the EZplugII servo driver interface card. In the spare parts list there is a double output servo interface card and the one that has possibly failed in my ESPII is the single driver card. Is there any reason that we must use a single or the double driver interface card can be used. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. If the single must be used then what is the part number for ordering?

So how old is the ESP section ? The current servo cards are the EZPLUGII servo card and have a procprocessor based reset and encoder interface for the Gecko 320 drivers. I am not sure we have any of the older descrete based cards left . The new ones should work with the same 10 pin control cable

In replacement parts the ezplugii card for Plazspak is th eold style (picture is wrong its of the newer card) while th card for Rs485 is the new card. The rs485 is for firmware updates not for control of feedback .

The ESPII is about 2014 serial No.13111013, so I'm confused. There is the EZPlugII servo rev4 which I have in the 5th axis position in the ESPII. Now it has only one connection for the Gecko driver, since there is no single driver interface in the spares list will the dual work and what is the correct ordering code or description to order the correct one correctly

There is no such thing as a single driver Servo card. ALL of the EZPLUGII servo carsa are dual driver evn if you don't populat both sptos. The 10 pin ribbon cable hands the signals for both driver . Your serial number indicates is in April of 2013.
